We performed an X-ray follow-up of the 30 richest SDSS redMaPPer clusters. We then derived cluster gas masses and used them as an unbiased, low-scatter mass proxy to learn about the variance in the richness-mass relation and tighten cluster cosmology constraints.

We performed a low-resolution spectroscopic survey for 21 galaxy clusters to measure redshifts to galaxies in each of the cluster fields. Using these redshifts, we identified cluster members and studied their color as a function of their lcoal environment.

The Core Cosmology Library (CCL) is a C library (with a python interface) to compute cosmological observables including distances, angular power spectra, correlation functions, halo bias and the halo mass function. Routines in CCL have been vetted with an extensive suite of validation tests to ensure numerical accuracy.

We measured the impact that a small minority of committed individuals in a densely populated social network would have on the group’s overall opinion. We performed our analysis on two types of stylized social network and found that there are regions of phase space where multiple opinions are stable and regions where a minority opinion will dominate.
